At Homegoings: A Live Performance, a handful of artists from season 1 of the podcast will take to the stage to gift us their art, and welcome all into brave conversation in a Q&A. We’ve already announced some of our amazing guests, including Ash Diggs, Kiah Morris and Saidu Tejan-Thomas Jr.

Like last year, we will film this event and turn it into a five-part video series to air on Vermont Public's main television station and to live on demand in perpetuity and awesomeness for you viewing whenever you want.

And this happening soon! We'll be live on Feb. 17, at @chandlercenterforthearts in Randolph, Vermont. I'll be hosting. You'll be feeling things. It will be great. In a world inundated with podcasts about, well, pretty much anything you can think of, this is the kind of thing that makes this podcast unique. It doesn't just live in audio: We make an effort to build community. Because it's important to witness vulnerability and art, together... and ... because it's fun.

Myra headlines Burlington Discover Jazz Festival and celebrates the release of her newest album! In Roar of the Queen, Myra Flynn takes on her own Black legacy with a concert experience coinciding with the release of her long-awaited new album, a throwback to the soulful sounds of the 80s that inspire her music and lift her spirit. It's been four years since Vermont's own indie-soul queen put out new music and a lot has happened during that time, including the magical-yet-all-too-human adventure of having a child and becoming a mother. And, when powerful life changes happen, there's so much more to share and sing about.

Join Myra as she steps into her own, claims her power, and explores the full emotional range of her beautiful voice in the authentic way that only she can do. This one-time-only show will be supported by her band of Vermont musicians, the Lake Champlain Mass Choir, and many special musical guests. They come together to take on a collection of brand new songs while also celebrating the grooves and joys of her songwriting career. This is Myra Flynn’s ferocious debut on the Flynn Main Stage.

$25-$75. $75 ticket price level includes a VIP meet and greet, and supports the recording of Myra's new album, which will be released at the concert. Package details forthcoming.
